1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to AFetch. Please read the following Terms of Service carefully before using this App. By downloading, installing, or using AFetch, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AFetch is an Android video downloading tool that helps users download video content locally by parsing media resources (supporting HLS, DASH protocols, and direct video sources) within a WebView browser.
The App has the following functional limitations:
- Does not support downloading DRM (Digital Rights Management) encrypted video content
- Does not support downloading content from YouTube
- Does not support non-public media
- Parses general media protocols only; no platform-specific integrations are provided
3. User Eligibility
By using this App, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age, or have obtained parental/guardian consent
- You have the right to agree to and be bound by these Terms
- The laws of your jurisdiction do not prohibit you from using this App
4. Free Service and Advertising
AFetch is provided free of charge. The App displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising platforms (such as Google AdMob, Applovin, etc.). By using the App, you consent to the display of such advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
5. User Conduct
By using this App, you agree to:
- Only download content that you have the legal right to download
- Comply with the terms of service of any websites you access
- Not use the App for any unlawful purpose, including copyright infringement
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the App
- Not use the App to download content that infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties
- By using this App, you represent and warrant that the content you download is either owned by you, licensed to you, or otherwise freely available for download without restriction.
6. Copyright and Lawful Use
AFetch is a general-purpose downloading tool. Users bear full responsibility for the legality of the content they download. Please be aware that:
- Downloading copyrighted content without authorization from the rights holder may violate applicable laws
- You must comply with the copyright laws of your country or region
- The App does not provide any functionality to circumvent copyright protection measures
We reserve the right to take appropriate action upon receipt of a valid copyright infringement notice (DMCA complaint), including terminating accounts of alleged infringers.
7. Intellectual Property
The AFetch application itself (including but not limited to source code, interface design, icons, and branding) is owned by the developer and protected by copyright law and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any license to use our intellectual property, except as explicitly stated herein.
8. Disclaimers
8.1 Service Provided "As Is"
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for:
- Certain videos that cannot be detected or downloaded due to changes in website structure
- The quality, completeness, or availability of downloaded content
- Data loss resulting from use of the App
8.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access without prior notice if:
- You violate any provision of these Terms
- We reasonably believe your use of the App causes harm to other users or third parties
- Required by law or regulatory authority
You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App. Files already downloaded to your device will not be affected upon termination.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is located. In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, EU users may also submit complaints via the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If significant changes occur, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after the notice period constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
